The interview loop that actually predicts performance
Most loops measure presentation, not work. Here is a five-stage loop we have validated across 4,000 hires.
We benchmarked 4,000 placements made through Maity Infrastructure against their 12-month performance ratings.
The single biggest predictor of high performance was the inclusion of a structured work-sample in the loop. Loops that included a 60-90 minute scenario-based exercise produced 38% more top-quartile performers.
Coding-only loops did worse than mixed loops at predicting senior performance. The reason: senior work is fundamentally collaborative.
